Dr. Ajitabh Srivastava

Dr.Ajitabh Srivastava is a board-certified hepatologist with over 13 years of expertise. He and his colleagues have conducted over 1500 liver transplants, including deceased donors, living donors, pediatric, and combination kidney and liver transplants. Dr. Srivastava has served as a member of the transplant units at Apollo Chennai, Apollo Delhi, and MIOT Chennai.

He was a part of the Indian team that pioneered liver transplants. Meanwhile, he was working on ABOI, minimally invasive donor hepatectomy, and dual liver transplants, all of which are advancements in living donor liver transplantation. After passing the USMLE, he pursued a fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Srivastava has a lot of publications and speeches to his credit at national and international conferences.
